In India, the National Institute for Continuing Education (NICE) is running the National Scholarship Exam (NSE), which offers scholarships to the selected students. The ultimate function of the services provided is to support economically disenfranchised learners, through the provision of scholarship assistance. Students from 5th to 12th grade students as well as the degree/diploma course students are permitted to make an application.
About NICE Foundation
The NICE Foundation is a non profit educational charitable trust created under the Trust Act 1882 (Reg. No. 1962). Its goal is to support students’ success at school by offering them, practice tests and online tutoring so that students can be successful in their own, normal living situations.
Purpose of the NSE
According to the author, the main role of the NSE is to motivate students to become academic victors. Students’ ability to identify what they are good at and what they can improve upon by studying the results of their exams enables them to gauge themselves. It also offers financial support to students to maintain their high school behavior.
